  We want to thank the two Williamsport Police officers who helped us get our U-Haul It truck and attached trailer untangled and back on the road safely. It was pouring rain but these two police officers helped my son straighten out the van and trailer and then stopped traffic so we could get back on the road safely. More people have to realize how much the police do in our communities to serve and protect people.

  Great food, fantastic beers although they've been on a sour, wild yeast kick for a while and don't brew enough dark beers. But if you like sours you'll love theirs. They get busy when there's a show at the Community Arts Center across the street so be aware.

  I can't believe that the Williamsport Police have several Officers can get away with entering a private residence without calling it in to dispatch this also included a State Trooper,a Woman Probation officer and several Williamsport police officers at 6:55pm and pounded on the fire escape door and not the door of residence,1 of the residents opened the door and they proceeded to enter residence for the purpose of harassing the young woman who resided there and it's pretty odd that neither of these residents were on probation nor doing anything illegal but they new the young woman from the past,kinda suspicious for Police Officers to not report this and after residents insisted that they leave since they were trying to make an attempt to search residents home,A complaint was filed by the residents but of course no action was taken against those who entered.So I guess police officers and a probation officer can do anything they want without consequences!!!!!!If you did this it would certainly have consequences but I guess these officers and probation officer can do whatever they want, I don't believe that anyone has the right to come in your home just because of your past and do it to cause an innocent person/persons intentional harm and to do this to label,discriminate,slander,harass,and to me I believe this is exactly what they have done and just because you have a badge it doesn't give you the right to continually make this person feel as though they must keep paying for mistakes they have served their time and have changed!This to me is clearly defamation of character and I wouldn't be writing this if it only has happened just this one time to this person,it's the first time they entered this residence illegally but certainly has not been the first or last time they have done this to this person and last I checked the police are here to SERVE And PROTECT US NOT TO DO THESE THINGS!! It's gone to far now as it has happened again and this person they keep attacking is my child and I heard this one while on phone with my child, The bottom line is I believe Police officers have forgotten what they were hired to do and I would think they should have to follow the same laws we do a badge doesn't give anyone the right to do these things to an innocent person,We are not guilty until proven innocent but it certainly seems like that's what is happening in our communities!!!!
